Terms of Service

OSINT Pro queries third party data sources and returns normalized records relating to an identifier you submit. We do not compile or own the underlying datasets.

Results are provided as is. Coverage varies by source and by identifier type, and we do not warrant that a result set is complete or that an absence of records means no exposure exists.

Accounts are identified by a single generated access key. We do not collect an email address or a password. You are responsible for safeguarding the key. Anyone holding it can use your account and spend your credits.

We cannot recover a lost key. If a key is lost or disclosed, the credits and history attached to it are inaccessible unless you have added a passkey to the account.

Credits are prepaid units that each entitle you to one lookup. Credits do not expire. Subscriptions grant a daily lookup allowance which resets each day and does not accumulate.

Consuming a lookup is triggered when a query returns at least one record. A query that returns nothing across every source does not consume a credit.

You may only query identifiers you own, or that you are authorized to investigate. Your use is additionally governed by the Acceptable Use policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used to harass an individual, or that is used to build a competing dataset by automated bulk extraction.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement in order to use the service.

If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms, and that organization is responsible for activity on the account.

You must not use the service where the law that applies to you bars you from doing so.

Service means this website, the search interface, and any API we make available.

Records means the normalized, source-labelled rows we return. Source Data means the underlying material held or published by the third parties those rows are derived from.

Identifier means the value you submit to a query, such as an email address, username, phone number, domain, IP address, or file hash. Credit means one prepaid unit consumed by a query that returns at least one Record.

Every Record we return is obtained from third party sources that already hold or publish that material. We do not compile or own the underlying datasets, we do not steal or improperly obtain private data, and we do not intrude into private systems.

Our role is limited to submitting the identifier you give us to those sources, normalizing what they return, and labelling the source of each row. We do not independently verify each Record.

We are not a consumer reporting agency and the service does not produce a consumer report.

You must not use the service or any Record to assess a person for credit, insurance, employment or volunteering, a license or benefit, or housing, or for any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or by comparable law in your jurisdiction. Our records have not been collected or verified to the standard those laws require.

A visitor may run one full lookup without an account. After that, queries still run, but the values inside the Records are masked until the account holds credits or an active plan.

Masking affects the displayed values only. That a Record exists, and the source it came from, are still shown, so you can judge whether a paid lookup is likely to be worth spending on.

Credits and plans are purchased in advance. Purchases are final, and we do not refund unused credits, unused daily allowance, or a partly used period, except where a refund is required by law.

If you believe you were charged in error, or that you paid for something you did not receive, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review it.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own purposes in line with these terms.

You may not resell the service or a Record, share your access key with anyone else, or use automated bulk extraction to build or enrich another dataset. Where you quote a Record outside the service, keep the source label attached and do not present the data as your own.

The sources we query are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their availability, their contents, or their terms. Coverage changes as sources change.

Where a source places conditions on the data it supplies, or where you follow a link out of our service, those conditions and that site's terms apply to you rather than these terms.

The service is provided on an as-available basis. We may add, change, or withdraw a lookup module at any time, and we may take the service down for maintenance.

We are not liable for an interruption, or for a module or feature we withdraw.

Records are supplied as is. We do not warrant that they are accurate, complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose. Third party data frequently contains errors, duplicates, stale contact details, and entries that were fabricated at the point of the original breach.

A Record reflects what a third party held or published at a point in time. You must not rely on a Record as the sole basis for a decision about a person.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or connected with the service.

Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, from your use of the service, or from your use of a Record in relation to the person it concerns.

The same applies where you have given another person access to your account.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, where the law requires it, or where continuing to serve it is no longer practicable.

The licence restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law provisions continue to apply after an account ends.

The current version of these terms always appears on this page with its effective date. We may amend them, and a material change affecting a plan you have already paid for will be notified in advance through the service.

If you do not accept a change, stop using the service before it takes effect. Continuing to use it afterwards means you accept the change.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may bring proceedings where you are established in order to protect our rights.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this section removes a protection you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence. No arbitration clause and no class action waiver is asserted here; either would be drafted separately and reviewed by counsel first.

If a provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force and the invalid provision is treated as replaced by one closest to its original intent.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent. These terms, together with the Acceptable Use and Privacy policies, are the entire agreement between us about the service.

Legal notices to us must be sent in writing to support@osintpro.dev. We may give notice to you through the service interface.
