| Point | OSINT Pro | Pentester.com |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | On demand breach and exposure lookups | Subscription for website security testing, dark web monitoring and data broker removal |
| Free use | One free lookup with a single record revealed, then masked results | A free scan of an email or a website with no card, showing a sample of breaches; the full report is on paid plans |
| What you can search | 14 types: email, username, phone, full name, domain, IP, crypto address, Discord ID, Steam ID, MAC address, machine UUID, company, password and file hash | The scan box takes an email or a website, and paid accounts add identity profiles you fill in yourself |
| Sources | Breach aggregators such as Snusbase, IntelX and LeakCheck, stealer log and dump collections, and public sources such as crt.sh, RDAP and Sherlock, queried at once | Their own breach data, described on their plan cards as more than 140 billion records |
| Source on each result | Yes, every row keeps the name of the source it came from | We could not check this without an account |
| Monitoring and alerts | Not yet | Ongoing monitoring and monthly scanning on paid plans |
| Data broker removal | No | Yes, working with more than 475 brokers, and their FAQ says removal is US only for now |
| Website security testing | No | Automated tests from 9,000 to 39,000 depending on plan, plus manual testing and an annual pentest on Elite |
| Public API | None yet | We did not find a public API on their site |
| Pricing | $1.75 for a single credit, packs down to $0.79 a credit, plans at $19.99 and $39.99 a month | Personal $19.00, Small Business $49.00, Pentester Elite $899.00 a month, each shown from a higher crossed out price |
| Sign in | Access key, no email needed | Email and password, starting with a free scan using your email |
| Exports | TXT, CSV or JSON, with the query and lookup type in the file header | Reports on paid plans, and we could not confirm the formats |
| Payment | PayPal or crypto | Not listed on their public pages, so we could not confirm the methods |
Where we differ
- Removing personal details from brokers
- That is a large part of what their Personal plan does, and OSINT Pro does not do removals at all.
- Ongoing monitoring
- Pentester keeps scanning and sends notifications. OSINT Pro only searches when you ask it to.
- Testing a small business website
- They run automated security tests on your site, and Elite adds monthly manual testing and an annual pentest. OSINT Pro does not scan websites.
- A dashboard for non technical staff
- They provide a separate view for non technical people alongside the detailed one for a tech team.
- Looking up an identifier that is not yours
- A username from a phishing kit, a Discord ID from an extortion message or a machine UUID from a stealer log sample can be searched directly, without setting up an identity profile first.
- Knowing where a hit came from
- If you are writing up an incident or deciding which passwords to rotate first, the source matters. Every OSINT Pro row keeps its source name, and exports record what you searched.
- A few lookups rather than a subscription
- A single credit is $1.75 and credits do not expire, so you are not paying every month for something you use twice.
- No email address to sign up
- An OSINT Pro account is an access key. Their free scan starts with your email.
Using both
Some people should use both. If you want your home address and phone off data broker sites, or your business site watched every month, that is a Pentester.com job.
When something actually happens and you need to look up a specific email, username or IP across a lot of breach sources at once, use OSINT Pro.
Honest limits
An empty result on either site only means the sources checked did not have that identifier. It does not mean you are safe. Names and usernames are not unique, so confirm a match with a second identifier before you act on it.
OSINT Pro is meant for defensive and investigative work: checking your own or your company's exposure, scoping an incident, or confirming an identifier during an investigation.
Questions
Is OSINT Pro a Pentester.com alternative?
For breach lookups, yes. For data broker removal, monitoring or website scanning, no. OSINT Pro does not do any of those.
How much does Pentester.com cost?
On 2026-10-20 their homepage showed Personal at $19.00 a month, Small Business at $49.00 a month and Pentester Elite at $899.00 a month, each as a discount from a higher crossed out price. Their FAQ says adding another person costs $5 extra. Check their site for current prices.
Is the Pentester.com scan free?
The first scan is free and they say no card is needed. Their homepage says the free scan shows a sample of breached passwords and leaks, and that paid plans get the full report.
Does OSINT Pro remove my data from data brokers?
No. OSINT Pro is a lookup tool. If removal is what you need, a service built for that is the right choice.
How much does OSINT Pro cost?
One free lookup that reveals a single record. After that a single credit is $1.75 and bigger packs drop to $0.79 a credit. Credits do not expire. Plans are $19.99 a month for 15 lookups a day and $39.99 a month for 50 a day, and paying yearly saves 17%. You can pay with card or crypto.
